I am a newly graduated and registered nurse as of May 2011, I work nights as an ICCU nurse, and am currently prolonging the didactic torture of my undergrad through a master's of nursing program for the nurse practitioner. I am approaching the precipice of my fourth semester now.
Healthcare is a realm that involves our everyday life, but it is not always as adept as including those who visit its borders as I, or many others would like.
This blog is devoted to the neophyte, the philosopher, the layman, the nursing student, and any other soul who might find an interest or benefit from learning more about our bodies, why healthcare works the way it does, or how to decipher the foreign language of politics and medical terminology that pervade the inner sanctum of the sick.
